The Adirondack Farmers' Market Cooperative, Inc. is a not-for-profit membership organization. Both consumers and producers belong to the Cooperative. We appreciate consumer support as we work toward making each market a community event and are recognizing this with the formation of the "Friends of the Adirondack Farmers' Market".

Our Mission Statement:

1. Provide an economical market place for area producers to sell their crops, baked goods, other produce, and for area crafts persons to sell their homemade wares.
2. Offer the consumer a source of quality locally-grown produce and homemade products, as well as a source of unique handcrafted items made by area artisans.
3. Provide a center of activity in the market locations. Displays, distribution of literature, and other activities are planned to encourage the whole family to come and stroll through the market area. This in turn stimulates other activities for the merchants in the market area and benefits the whole community.

Membership is $35 annually, payable to the Treasurer.

If you would like to form a farmers' market under the auspices of the Adirondack Farmers' Market Cooperative, you need three vendors, two of whom must be selling produce that they grow. Contact the Executive Director for more assistance.
